General fitness information
Jamie's Fit provides general exercise and wellness information for educational purposes. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, rehabilitation, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.
Before you begin
Consult an appropriate healthcare professional before starting a new exercise program if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery, managing an injury or medical condition, taking medication that affects exercise, or unsure whether a workout is suitable for you.
During exercise
Choose a level appropriate for your current ability. Clear enough space to move, use equipment as instructed, maintain control, and take additional rest whenever needed. Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if you experience chest pain, faintness, severe shortness of breath, sharp pain, loss of balance, or other unusual symptoms.
Personal responsibility
Physical activity involves inherent risk. You are responsible for deciding whether to participate, selecting appropriate movements, and using your surroundings and equipment safely. Never continue an exercise that causes pain or feels unsafe.
